Key findings from the study include:

    • Physical health on an upward trend: Physical well-being in Singapore reached its highest level since 2019, with 34% of respondents reporting their physical health as very good or excellent in 2024.
    • Stress and mental health show improvement, but challenges remain: The stress level in Singapore has reached their lowest point in seven years, with 79% of respondents reporting feeling stressed this year. Nevertheless, 49% of respondents who felt stressed still report disrupted sleep as an impact of stress.
    • Improvements in social well-being: 33% of respondents rated their social well-being as excellent or very good this year, a vast improvement from the 22% and 25% who said the same in 2022 and 2023.
    • Financial strain has deep impacts on well-being: The cost of living remains the primary stressor for Singapore respondents, with 52% citing it as a major source of stress. Stress from personal finance is also ranked among the top three and continues to rise.
    • High vitality individuals better manage their health: Those with higher vitality are more confident in managing their health, with 86% expressing optimism, compared to just 12% of low vitality individuals.

Overall, our study shows encouraging improvements in the health and well-being of people in Singapore. It also demonstrates the link between vitality and effective health management; emphasising the importance of robust support systems to provide holistic and accessible care for the community to manage their health.
